How it works
LAFAUTIQUE is fantasy commerce: real objects at real prices, and orders that are knowingly simulated.
Discovery
Objects are chosen one by one from the houses, retailers and listings that publish them. Each is shown with its reference value, the price its seller publishes, in the currency of its source. Residences, yachts and aircraft show the asking price of a live listing.
The order
Choose an object and place an order. The order is knowingly simulated and no product charge is taken. The checkout page says so directly above PLACE ORDER.
The delivery
Your order then travels through a simulated delivery, with a waybill, a route and timestamps, from dispatch to arrival. Every tracking page carries a SIMULATED DELIVERY stamp. Nothing is physically delivered.
YOURS
When the delivery completes, the object moves into YOURS: your private collection, arranged by category, with the date you ordered it.
Membership
Your first order is free. After that, membership is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited orders and more. Details at launch.
What LAFAUTIQUE is not
It is not a shop: nothing is sold here and no object changes hands. It is not a raffle: there is nothing to enter. It is not affiliated with the brands it features, whose names and trademarks belong to their owners.
